Where do you live?
New York City

If you could live ANYWHERE in the world, where would you make your home?
Somewhere way back in the woods, like where I grew up in rural Pennsylvania.  But I would still want access to all the city has to offer.

If you could be ANYONE in history, who would you be?
I would be myself.  But in any era except the present.  I would love to examine the world as it was once.

Boots or sneakers?
Boots, obviously.  🙂  They can be both formal and informal – I can wear them in a stylish three-piece suit as well as on a hike.

Meat or vegetables?
I’m a carnivore through and through.

What are you reading?
As is my modus operandi, I’m involved with several books at once:  1. GETTYSBURG, The Last Invasion, 2. SWAMPLANDIA!, 3. LONDON, The Novel, and 4. INFERNO

What are you listening to?
MATILDA: The Musical.  Both the original cast album and the new Broadway recording are amazing.  Such a brilliant show.

What are you writing?
Too much to even go into here.  As with my reading, I’m involved in so many projects at once.  My baby right now is CAPTAIN, Book One of the Never Land Trilogy – an adult prequel to Peter Pan that details the rise and fall of one, Captain James Hook.

Morning or night?
As much as I would love to say morning – Night.

Describe the last dream you had.
I often don’t remember my dreams and, to be completely honest, can’t think of a one right now!  :\

And now, here comes the big confession:
After DAYS of pouring over the blogs I follow, trying to find people with less than 200 followers, and then trying to find out which ones of those had not received the Liebster Award, I have to admit that I eventually gave up.
I love you all with blogging affection unbound, but I am going to drop the ball on forwarding on the award.
I hope you can forgive me!!

If any of you would like to answer ten random questions that I put forth, please let me know and I shall oblige.  🙂

Sometimes life is a pendulum, and sometimes you’re on the downward swing.

Ya know those times when life is going well?  When everything is falling right into your lap and you’ve nary a care in the world?  When you feel intelligent, attractive, comfortable, productive, and healthy?  When you wake up and the sunshine itself makes you feel as though you can accomplish anything and become anybody you wish?

Yeah, those are nice times.  Can’t wait to get back to those.

Unfortunately, sometimes there are other times when you feel ineffectual and slow, when the doldrums take up residence within a two-foot radius around you,  when everything seems to be a struggle, when you’re constantly searching that horizon for that next positive thing.  I’ve come to find, through these last few weeks, that this is not the most preferred method of living.  I don’t recommend it.

Good news, though:  that pendulum swings back upward.  And believe me, I’m ready and waiting to catch that ride.  🙂
